About the villa
We would like to welcome you to villa, our luxury haven of Bali charm in the heart of rural Canggu:  a place we love to keep coming back to and are always happy to share with our special guests.
Over half of the estate has been retained as working rice fields, so the essence of why we built here in the first place will never be lost. The villa pays homage to the land upon which it sits by integrating the contours of the rice terraces into its design.  We have even built a relaxation pavilion alongside the meandering tree-lined river that borders the rice fields; never has a massage been so serene.
Our five double bedroom suites are generously spaced to ensure privacy; each exquisitely furnished with king-sized beds (one convertible to twins), high quality comfortable furnishings, semi-outdoor ensuite bathrooms and private sitting areas overlooking the gardens, rice fields and soothing water features.  Having our own kids made the inclusion of a bunkroom an easy decision, and we’re sure your own children will get as much fun out of this room as ours have.  And as well as having their own special ‘dorm’ (conveniently situated next to our big TV lounge equipped with Nintendo Wii ), The villa vast lawns and swimming pool, table tennis, toys, books and games should keep young members of the family occupied for hours. 
Meanwhile, adults can relax poolside, socialise in the majestic double-vaulted living pavilion overlooking the rest of the estate, or enjoy a massage either in one of the villa’s many thatched pavilions or in the comfort of their own room. 
Mealtimes are a treat at the villa open-sided dining pavilion raised high above the pool and gardens to offer sublime views, day or night. Our suggestion menu of Indonesian specialties, gourmet delights and western favourites (including a kids menu) makes dining easy, but do talk to the chef if you have any special requests for dishes you can’t find on the menu.
Part of the villa magic is its adaptability: as well as being perfect for families, the villa’s classic architecture, abundant space and romantic rice-field setting, make it one of Bali’s most sought after wedding venues too.
The location
Famous for its year-round surf breaks and rice terraces stretching down to the shoreline, the rural district of Canggu is fast evolving into Bali’s hippest beachside scene.  Within a kilometre of the villa, guests will find cool bars, coffee shops, and numerous eateries promoting healthy cuisine.  At Echo Beach, there is a good choice of restaurants and cafes including The Beach House, offering a daily barbecue and live music on Sundays.  Other vibrant music venues include Old Man’s, and Deus Ex Machina.  For fit folks there is a dance school, a surf school, some yoga studios and three riding stables within just a few minutes’ drive.  For more decadent types, there’s also a chocolate shop, copious spas and beauty lounges, some super-chic beachwear boutiques, and the Canggu Deli for gourmet goodies – all within easy reach.

Bedrooms
Master suite
With its broad balcony overlooking the river and rice terraces, the villa huge master suite is a haven of relaxation, complete with a king-size four-poster bed and a TV screen that appears at the touch of a button.  Walk through the dressing area and you’ll find an air-conditioned bathroom fitted with two walk-in rain showers, one inside and one outside, together with a romantic bathtub bordered by tropical plants within a private courtyard garden. 
Guest suites
The villa’s four guest-suites are furnished with king-size beds (one of which converts to twins) daybeds, desks and chairs.  Each room is complemented by a dressing and vanity area and private ensuite bathroom.  One of the suites is positioned upstairs with gorgeous views of the rice fields and river, while three are situated on ground level:  two with garden views and one overlooking the villa’s serene fish pond complete with timber deck and cascading waterfall.
Each of the guest suites’ luxurious bathrooms has a rain shower, and three are fitted with alfresco bathtubs.  Two of the bathrooms extend into private courtyard gardens, while one offers the decadent facility of a private deck and soaking tub alongside a beautiful water-garden.  Finally, the upper-floor suite presents a bathtub positioned upon a cool balcony alongside a cushioned daybed.
kids ’bunkroom
A kids’ bedroom, on the ground floor of the dining pavilion can accommodate up to five children (or four children and a nanny) in a cleverly arranged set of bunk beds.  The bunkroom is adjoined by a shower room and WC.
Indoor living
Designed in the style of a traditional Balinese wantilan, or meeting hall, the villa majestic living pavilion and reception area sets the tone for the whole villa.  Open-sided and overlooking the pool, gardens and rice fields, this vast fan-cooled space is furnished with sofas, ottomans, a coffee table and an intricately carved antique Javanese daybed.  The pavilion is linked to the rest of the villa by steps and a covered, colonnaded walkway with black and white chequered tiles.
The open-sided dining pavilion at the villa offers a truly impressive setting for a social meal around a long 14-seater dining table.  Elevated above the gardens and pool, cooled by natural breezes and ceiling fans, and blessed with glorious views, the dining area is adjoined by a fully equipped feature kitchen where the chef works culinary magic.
Positioned on the ground floor of the dining pavilion, the TV lounge is equipped with a large wall-mounted screen, satellite-channel TV and DVD player complete with surround sound and Nintendo Wii.  This air-conditioned room is elegantly furnished with sofas, a coffee table, two ottomans and a built-in bar.  Glass doors open onto a terrace beside the pool deck.
Outdoor living
The Villa splendid 30-metre swimming pool follows the curve of the rice terraces. At one end is an integrated children’s pool, and in the middle is an open-sided ‘bale’ relaxation pavilion, which appears to float on the water and can be reached with dry feet via a series of stepping stones.  The pool is bordered by a stone deck furnished with sun loungers.
Other relaxation areas within the magnificent gardens include a riverside bale bengong or daydreaming pavilion – a comfortably cushioned nest perched high above the ground to catch the gentle breeze – and a massage bale with two massage beds tucked away in a quiet corner of the grounds. The villa wide flat lawn is the perfect setting for a wedding reception, following a ceremony held in a specially designed area among the villa’s rice terraces.

The villa is exceptionally well equipped for families.  As well as the kids’ bunkroom, facilities include a baby cot; high chair; DVDs; toys and games.

In-villa treatments selected from a comprehensive spa menu can be carried out by professional beauty therapists (extra cost applies).
Transport
Guests will be hard pressed to find reasons to leave the villa but if transport is required, don’t hesitate to ask the villa manager to call one of the island’s safe and reasonably priced metered taxis, or to organise day or half-day car and driver hire for sightseeing (additional cost).
Weddings & events
Events for up to 50 people (sitting) and 100 people (standing) can be arranged at the villa with prior notice.

Dining
The villa chef, cook and butlers are on hand to prepare and serve daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as drinks and snacks throughout the day.  Just let them know your wishes and they will do there best to please.
The villa offers an extensive suggestion menu of delicious home-style meals featuring Asian and international dishes to cater to all tastes, with an excellent selection of vegetarian and children’s options.  The chef is also more than happy to tailor meals to accommodate dietary requirements or to meet special requests from guests.
Groceries and beverages are charged at market price (plus a 20% handling fee which is subject to service and tax at the prevailing rate). Guests will be requested to provide grocery money in advance, and the staff will do the shopping and keep the receipts for reference.  To make the most of the kitchen and give staff time to shop, it is a good idea to plan meals the evening before.
Staff
The friendly but professional service provided by our experienced staff is one of the highlights of staying with us.  Their goal is to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible, and every member of the team will do his or her utmost to please with warm smiles and charming Balinese hospitality.
  • Villa manager
The villa manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa.  His job is to oversee and coordinate the staff and property and to assist guests during their stay.
  • Chef
The villa’s skilled private chef is trained in local and international cuisine and is in charge of the market shopping and preparation of all guest meals.  The chef will happily prepare dishes from the villa’s suggestion menu, as well accommodating special requests and dietary requirements.
  • Cook
The chef is ably assisted by a talented cook who is in charge of breakfast and helping with lunch and dinner.
  • Butlers
Long-serving butlers look after guests needs including serving dinner and preparing drinks.
  • Housekeeping
Our housekeeping team attend the villa daily to take care of all domestic duties, inside and out.  Each evening they will provide a turn-down service before they depart.
  • Garden and pool
Gardeners and pool staff attend to Puri Bawana’s lush grounds and pool.
  • Security
The villa is kept safe and secure 24 hours a day by four security staff working rotating shifts.
  • Maintenance
A maintenance engineer is on hand to fix any problems that may arise during guests’ stay.
Families at the villa
With its purpose-built bunkroom, masses of garden space and excellent kids’ facilities including a 30-metre pool with a wading area for little ones (a sail can be put up for shade), a trampoline, ping pong and Nintendo Wii, makes a superb family villa.   And while it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, most children will jump at the chance to wade up to their knees in mud and plant some rice in the villa’s very own working paddy fields.  Having access to your own private facilities and the freedom to use them whenever you want, and knowing that the kids can run around happily, independently and safely, without you having to worry about other guests, is a real plus – and one that means you are bound to have a more relaxed holiday too.
The team of friendly staff at the villa will make children feel as welcome as adults, and having these willing helpers on hand gives guests plenty of flexibility and freedom to do their own exploring beyond the villa grounds (full-time babysitting incurs a small extra cost).   Although the well-equipped kitchen at the villa allows you to prepare meals for fussy eaters or babies with ease, staff will be happy to do this for you – just talk through your requirements and meal schedules with the villa manager or chef and they will take care of the rest. The chef can customise all meals to suit children’s taste buds.
We know that having to bring cumbersome kids’ equipment on holiday can really add to your load, so just let us know in advance what you need, and anything we don’t have in-house we will do our best to hire on your behalf (click here to see list of available hire items).
When the villa grounds and neighbourhood have been fully explored, check out our Things to do page.  As well as the beach only being a half-hour walk down the road, there’s plenty in the area to keep all the family amused throughout the holiday.
Spa
The villa has so many serene spots for a massage or other soothing treatment that it’s almost like a spa itself. So if you feel like a body scrub or massage, just ask our staff to bring the spa to you! Deluxe treatments can be carried out in the privacy of your room, or in a choice of relaxation pavilions spread throughout the villa, by fully trained therapists from a reputable local spa (extra charges will apply). Here’s a sample of what’s on the menu:
  • Massage
Release built up tension with a traditional Balinese massage.  Using a combination of gentle stretches, acupressure and aromatherapy oils to stimulate the flow of blood, oxygen and energy around your body, you will feel totally relaxed in no time.
  • Foot reflexology
Foot reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet corresponding to every part of the body.  Through application of pressure on these reflexes tension is relieved and circulation improved leaving you feeling balanced.
  • Body scrub
A full body scrub will exfoliate and hydrate your skin leaving it soft and smooth.  A rejuvenating scrub combines an abrasive material such as salt, coffee, rice bran or pecan hulls with essential oils to remove any impurities and make your skin glow.
  • Manicure/pedicure
Our hands and feet work hard for us every day but rarely get the attention they deserve.  Treat them to a manicure or pedicure, which usually comes with the added bonus of a quick hand or foot massage.
Things to do
The villa manager will have a wealth of information about nearby places of interest and will help arrange transport and make any bookings required.  Do also ask the staff about the local area.  Many of them live nearby and will be able to give an interesting insight into some of the fascinating aspects of Bali life.
In the meantime, here is a taste of the many and varied activities on offer within reach of the villa.
  • The villa is close to the famous temple at Tanah Lot (10 km), although in peak season a few too many tourists may transform a sunset visit into more of a heaving photo opportunity than a moving experience. Visiting early in the morning (8-9am) provides a better idea of the power of the location and the chance to see it undisturbed apart from perhaps an offering ceremony.
  • A nice sunset alternative is to head down to Echo Beach (2.3km) where a number of cafes offer good sunset views and cold beer. Note that the beach here is dark volcanic sand and the sea is rough – better suited to surfing than swimming.  Hotel Tugu, a very stylish and eclectic boutique hotel a few minutes further down the coast is also a good sunset spot.
  • Fashionistas, trendies and shop-a-holics should hot-foot it down to Seminyak, Bali’s most cosmopolitan enclave. Here, you can indulge for hours in the glut of stylish, chic boutiques.  There is a wide choice of fine dining, mid range, and cheap ‘n cheerful restaurants in Seminyak too:  fine dining venues include Sarong, the famous Ku Dé Ta, Mama San, La Lucciola, Sardine and Métis.
  • Play a round at the unbelievably scenic Nirwana Bali Golf Course. Bordered by ocean and rice fields and just down from Tanah Lot sea temple, no wonder this championship-standard course (designed by golf legend, Greg Norman) is frequently voted number one in Asia.
  • Drive westwards to explore the charming Tabanan regency, revealing terraced rice fields of emerald green, volcanic mountains and black-sand beaches dotted with fishing communities. Or head north to explore the volcanic lakes near the mountain town of Bedugul, including Lake Bratan with its photogenic and stunningly positioned Pura Ulun Danu – one of Bali’s most important temples.
  • Covering 3.8 hectares of tropical parkland in Kuta, Waterbom Bali has 20 water slides (including The Climax with its 360 degree loop) to entertain the young and the young at heart. A great family day out, but go early to beat the crowds.
  • Bali Treetop Adventure Park is near the town of Bedugal in northern central Bali (next to Lake Bratan). Five adventure circuits, with heights ranging from two to 20 metres, challenge all level and ages on suspended bridges, spider nets, Tarzan jumps and 12 flying foxes.
  • Hire some bikes and explore the scenic rice-field landscape and rural villages; a great way to get under the skin of the ‘real’ Bali. Stop off at a local warung (café) to sample some basic Balinese fare or cool off with a cold drink.
PRICES AND [DOWN] PAYMENT
After the booking is made, AccomWorld®™ must have received the down payment of 35% of the rent amount, as well as the Booking fee and Calamity Fund, within 5 working days to secure the reservation. As well as any extras of which is indicated on the reservation form that they must be paid upon booking. For our Indonesia and Thailand villas, the down payment is 50% of the rent.
The final balance must be paid no later than 6 (six) weeks before the arrival of the client’s arrival date.
If a booking is made within 6 (six) weeks before arrival, the full rent amount together with any specified extras is due immediately upon reservation.
Confirmation of the reservations will be issued on receipt / Charge of the Booking Deposit. The Balance will be debited from your credit card 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Booking be made within 6 weeks of arrival full payment will be debited immediately.
In the event of cancellation the following charges will apply:
The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • 6 weeks before date of arrival 60% of the entire stay will be charged
  • 4 weeks before date of arrival 80% of entire stay will be charged
  • 3 week or before date of arrival 90% of total stay will be charged.
  • 1 week or before date of arrival 100% of total stay will be charged.
  • Credit Cards, We accept Master Card or Visa, or Debit/ Laser Cards.
BOOKING CANCELLATION
AccomWorld®™ should be informed of any cancellation immediately by email or fax. Cancellations outside office hours are deemed to have been made on the following working day.
Deposits will be refunded only if the booking cannot be honored due to a cause attributable to the accommodation provider or AccomWorld®™.
If the tenant has to cancel the booking, he can request AccomWorld®™ to replace him/her with another person. Cancellation or a request for substitution is only possible during office hours; from Monday / Friday from 09.00 to 17.00.
Reservations are only confirmed when we either charge or receive the booking Deposit, until this happens it is possible for other parties to reserve the house for the same period, and we cannot be held liable if this happens.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT
 You should note that the accommodation provider may require a deposit, depending on the accommodation and the destination. The actual amount is indicated on the first page of the reservation form. The deposit is payable upon arrival or together with the final balance (six weeks before your arrival), depending on the accommodation provider. The method of payment depends on the accommodation provider; by credit card, bank transfer in advance or cash on the spot. This information can be found on our website, but also on the voucher.
The Damage deposit will be returned in full between de 48 hours en 3 days –and no later than 7 days- after your departure.
In the event of damage and/or loss of the rented property, and/or circumstances for which the tenant is to blame, the total incurred damage will be deducted from the deposit. In all instances where the costs of damage and/or loss of the rented property or the damage suffered by the accommodation provider exceed the paid deposit the tenant must immediately pay the excess to the accommodation provider. All instances of breakage, loss and/or damages must be reported immediately to the accommodation provider and paid for.
If, on arrival at the property, you find any type of irregularity, we request that you inform the local contact person, specified on your voucher, within 24 hours so that a solution can be found and deductions for breakages that are not your responsibility can be prevented.
UTILITIES
Utilities (Heating & Electricity) charges are included in this price, high consumption will be chargeable and are based on consumption and so you only pay for what you use.
VALUABLE BELONGING
We are not responsible for the loss of any valuables or property either during your stay or after departure.
We have the right to enter the property at any time if so desired if it is felt that the property is not being kept in a reasonable manner, or the occupants of the property are causing a nuisance to other neighboring properties, the right to inspect is enforceable at all times, and if we call to the house, and none of the occupants are present or do not open the door, then the right to inspect if enforceable immediately.
OCCUPANCY
The number of people designated in the original Reservation, must not be exceeded, without contacting us. If the number of occupants in the property exceeds the number of occupants requested when booking the property in question, we have the right to cancel without warning, and when you have been requested to remove the occupants from the property immediately, no refund shall be given in these circumstances, and no refund shall be sought, as the occupants give up this right if the number of occupants exceeds the number of people the property was booked for in the first place.
Should guests behave in a disruptive manner, cause damage to property or indulge in any other behavior deemed to be unreasonable by management the rental may be terminated without refund. If there is damage caused to the property or the items in the property during your stay you will be liable for the cost of repair of the damaged item or replacement of an item that cannot be fixed. If something is broken or damaged when you enter the property please advise us straight away so as we can replace the item as soon as possible.
COMPLAINTS
Complaints should be notified immediately to us immediately to give us the opportunity to deal with them as soon as possible to our guest relation representative by phone number on the number given to you upon checking in the welcome pack.
On leaving the property we would expect the following to be done,
  1. 1 All Laundry and Linen that has been used, shall be placed in one of the Bathrooms
  2. 2 All Rubbish that is left by the group shall be placed outside the rare of the property
  3. 3 All Plates, Pots & Pans etc shall be washed and placed back in the same place
  4. That the Meters are read and you leave the correct amount to cover the cost of the Utilities which you have used is left in the Envelope along with the Utilities form
  5. The house should be returned in a reasonable state
  6. Failure to do so will result in extra cleaning charges, with a minimum being USD $30.00 for failure to do any of the above
The person, who gives their Credit Card details for payment for the Holiday Home, will be responsible for any charges for breakages or Damages, or Charges for leaving the House in an unsatisfactory manner. We will charge that persons card, and it is agreed that the is agreed that person agrees with this charge being made on their credit card.
Any complaint regarding your stay with us must be brought to our attention as early as possible during your stay and, if not resolved to your satisfaction, should be notified to the AccomWorld®™ Rentals in writing.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
The time at which the accommodation will be available on the day of arrival, depends on the region and/or accommodation provider and can be found on our website and on the voucher. The time at which the accommodation should be vacated depends on the region and/or accommodation provider and can be found on our website and on the voucher.
It is vital that we are sent flight details or expected arrival and departure times in order to facilitate a smooth check-in and check-out. It does not however guarantee an early check-in or a later departure from the property.
For clients who arrive outside office hours, we request that you inform us as soon as possible so that we can give you arrival information, such as: directions to the property and instructions for key collection. Ensure that the reservation is 100% paid and that you have facilitated the payment of the deposit.
We are flexible with the check-in and check-out if there is no charge over in the Arrival and Departure. 
LIABILITY
AccomWorld®™ does not accept liability for any omissions or errors and reserves the right at any time to change information published on the site.
AccomWorld®™ does not accept liability for any loss either indirect or consequential that may arise from the use of or connected with AccomWorld®™ Rentals web site or for any products or services purchased from AccomWorld®™ web site.
GUEST BEHAVIOR
You are expected to conduct yourself at all times in an orderly and acceptable manner and not to disrupt the quiet enjoyment of other guests. We reserve the right to immediately terminate your booking and the booking of any members of your party if we (acting reasonably) deem your conduct to be in breach of this clause.
Conduct that we reasonably consider inappropriate and in breach of clause includes but is not limited to:
(a) creating an inappropriate level of noise;
(b) drunken or unruly behavior; and/or
(c) any behavior which other guests or staff find offensive in any way.
We will at all time act reasonably when making any determination
In the event that we terminate your booking, you will be required to leave your accommodation immediately. You will be held liable for any damage or loss caused by you or a member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid prior to your departure. If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you.
Our obligations to you come to an end when the booking is terminated. We will have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation and we will not pay for any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination.
MISCELLANEOUS
Passport, visa and health requirements for you and your party are your responsibility. You are strongly recommended to obtain travel insurance against cancelation.
You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. All bookings are personal to you and may not be sold, assigned or otherwise transferred.
If our hotel reservation confirmations are used inappropriately as means of VISA application, an admin fee will be charged and the customer will be reported to the local authorities.
ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES IN THE VILLAS OR HOLIDAYS HOMES
We will have zero tolerance to any activities considered Illegal as per the COUNTRY law and will involve the Local Police if you are found to be doing any of such activities the company will not be of any help in such case and you will have to check out immediately no refund will be done this case what so ever.
CORRECT DETAILS
You are requested not to provide any false information when confirming the booking including your name, phone number and residential address. If we find any false information provided by you we will have the right to cancel the booking without any notice and any payments made will be non-refundable.
SUNSCREEN LOTIONS
In the last year we have noticed a huge amount of body lotions, sunscreens and the latest generation of tanning oils which apparently help you to get tanned quicker. The downside is that they contain substances that affect the good performance of the swimming pool and its engines and most of the time leaves persistent spots on the household linen, bathing suits and sun lounger mats.
Please be aware of this because when serious damage is made, we are forced to make you responsible of any damage and the correspondent amount is going to be discounted from the deposit.
PETS
Most accommodation providers do not allow pets. You may keep a pet in or around the villa only with the explicit permission of AccomWorld®™ stated on the reservation form and voucher. The accommodation provider may require extra mandatory final cleaning costs.Pets are not permitted at most of our property, for Pet Friendly option enquire with our reservations staff by e-mail.
LEGAL GOVERNANCE
Your booking is governed by the law of the state or country where the holidays home is situated and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or country courts. The booking confirmation and these terms represent the entire agreement between AccomWorld®™ and you.
You confirm that you have not entered into the contract with AccomWorld®™ on the basis of any representation not expressly incorporated into these documents.
