Villa Description


This three storey townhouse building on Eden Island, with its unique Creole vernacular architectural style boasts some of the most luxurious open plan living that the Seychelles has to offer. The spacious lounge with its contemporary furniture allows for comfortable seating for eight in front of the 40” LCD T.V. equipped with DVD player and full surround-sound capability, which can provide hours of entertainment with our large complimentary DVD library.

For those looking for some light hearted fun on those rainy days we provide a vast variety of board games to keep the fun times rolling. One can even make use of the docking station with Bluetooth capability to allow for music to be played on a wireless connection through one’s device.

The dining room, which also seats eight, is conveniently located adjacent to the sleek and fully fitted kitchen, containing some of the top of the range appliances. The folding stacking doors that make up the entire eastern facade, allow the townhouse to be opened up to the intense natural beauty of the granitic mountains of Mahe as well as the luscious tropical vegetation; the likes of which hosts the perfect spot for the expansive patio which is complete with high quality BBQ and outdoor furniture with enveloping comfort.

The patio makes for the perfect location for a variety of Al Fresco dinners and sun downers to be enjoyed. Spilling out beyond the patio you will find your own private garden, well-manicured and finished with vibrant tropical plants that define the pathway beyond the garden and to the private jetty. The personal jetty allows for the convenience of a boat for those who wish to cruise the crystalline blue seas of the Seychelles; exploring the inner islands and beyond. For those not so brave of heart an electronic buggy will be provided at no extra cost for touring Eden Island and its extensive facilities.

The second floor features two extremely spacious, well air-conditioned rooms, one of which is the master bedroom which boasts a king sized bed with plush bedding for the most luxurious of rests. The room is also equipped with a safe and hair dryer. The beautiful en-suite bathroom contains all one could need, complete with bath, shower, twin vanity, separate toilet and bidet.

The second bedroom with its two single beds features an en-suite bathroom much like that of the master bedroom; fitted with a shower, single vanity and separate toilet. These two rooms lead onto a covered balcony, so spacious it easily fits four soft cushioned recliners which are absolutely perfect for that afternoon siesta, reading a good book or just a spot to meditate on the absolute beauty of paradise.

The extremely functional well air conditioned room on the second floor provides an exclusive space for the third bedroom. This bedroom is ideal in all aspects for the business person seeking refuge from the rest of the household, complete with work desk and cozy lounge.

Alternatively the room can be transformed into a large bedroom ideal to share between children, with its two single beds and queen size sofa bed for two. The room also contains yet another en-suite bathroom with shower, single vanity and separate toilet. Complete with all these incredible aspects, this accommodation, on Eden Island, Seychelles, is absolutely essential for the perfect stay in paradise.

House rules
On arrival to The Seychelles a minimum refundable cash damages deposit equivalent to one nights stay or 10% of stay, whichever is greater will be required to cover any damages to the property. On inspection, provided that no damages have been caused to the property, the deposit will be refunded at the end of the stay.

Only persons listed on the original Booking form may occupy the unit at all times.

Check in time is 12h00 and check out time is 10h00. Extra night will be charged if times are not strictly adhered to or prearranged prior to arrival.

Due to a water shortage on the island, bed linen will be changed once a week and towels every 3 to 5 days dependent on the length of stay.

Weekday Housekeeping (Monday-Friday), excluding public holidays, is included in the rate.

Complimentary slow WiFi internet is provided in the Townhouse.

This is a non-smoking unit, so please refrain from smoking in the unit.

Refrain from making excessive noise after 22h00 in consideration of other guests/homeowners staying on Eden Island.

Complimentary golf cart to be driven on Eden Island by a licensed driver and must be driven on paths and parked in designated areas only. Any damage caused due to negligence will be deducted from the breakage deposit.

KITCHEN

Modern, spacious kitchen is equipped with basic kitchen utensils for dining of 6 persons, tools for meal preparation, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, cooker, oven, kettle, washing machine, and a tumble drier.
The kitchen is separated from dining area by a bar, where 03 persons can enjoy their drinks

Massive table for 6 persons is placed in the area between the kitchen and large living room.

BEDROOMS WITH INDIVIDUAL BALCONIES

The apartment (self-catering accommodation) includes 3 bedrooms of decent size, each of them equipped with beds for two persons. Two of them are fitted with a double bed and 01 has single beds in it. Each of the bedrooms has en suite bathroom with a shower and a separate lavatory, balcony, room wardrobe, dressing table with a chair and a lamp.

SAFE

All the valuables you do not wish to carry with you around Seychelles can be stored in the safe available at this self-catering apartment.

LIVING ROOM

Since the living room is connected with the spacious terrace, fitted with nice and comfortable furnishing, it is retreat for the visitors desiring peace and quiet. There are comfortable sofas, coffee table, chest of drawers and LCD TV all that set in a nice, cozy style.

BATHROOMS

Each of the three bathrooms is equipped with a large glass shower, one or two washbasins and separate lavatory with a bidet.

AIR- CONDITIONING

The self-catering villa with private pool is fully air-conditioned; there is a ceiling fan as well. Since the air-conditioning works under certain conditions (closed windows) ceiling fans are frequently used.

CLUB CAR

Club car – similar to golf car is included in the price of rented self-catering apartment. Club car can carry 4 persons and serves the purpose of moving around Eden Island and Mahé, for short distances. You will be handed the Club car keys on the day of your arrival together with your apartment keys. It is necessary to fill in the gasoline.

TERRACE WITH GRILL

The most popular place with the villa visitors terrace is a large-sized roofed terrace with an incredible turquoise sea view or the garden view. The roofing provides pleasant rest in the shade and the large table which seats 6 persons enables the guests to dine on the terrace. Comfortable deckchairs are intended for rest and lazing around.
Gas grill on the terrace makes barbecue at this wonderful place even more amazing.

SERVICES WHICH ARE FREE OF CHARGE

Private facilities of the resort intended only for guests of the Eden Island are FREE OF CHARGE:
Access to the private beach (for Eden Island’s guests only)
Use of pools (for guests staying in the villa only)
Use of tennis courts (during the day free of charge, at night time a R50.00 fee due to illumination)
Use of fitness centre
To the GUESTS in the apartments, a use of a small motorized car „Club car“for 4 people FREE OF CHARGE. The Club car is suitable for shorter distances on the Eden Island or on Mahé. The Club car is supposed to be returned with as much gasoline as at the point of receiving the car keys

NOTES

Prices are stated per self-catering villa with private pool per night.
The price includes cleaning service on the arrival and departure day and once per 5 days during the stay
The price includes the 15% tax paid on Seychelles

PRICES AND [DOWN] PAYMENT

After the booking is made, AccomWorld®™ must have received the down payment of 35% of the rent amount, as well as the Booking fee and Calamity Fund, within 5 working days to secure the reservation. As well as any extras of which is indicated on the reservation form that they must be paid upon booking. For our Indonesia and Thailand villas, the down payment is 50% of the rent.

The final balance must be paid no later than 6 (six) weeks before the arrival of the client’s arrival date.

If a booking is made within 6 (six) weeks before arrival, the full rent amount together with any specified extras is due immediately upon reservation.

Confirmation of the reservations will be issued on receipt / Charge of the Booking Deposit. The Balance will be debited from your credit card 6 weeks prior to arrival.

Booking be made within 6 weeks of arrival full payment will be debited immediately.

In the event of cancellation the following charges will apply:

The booking deposit is non-refundable.

  • 6 weeks before date of arrival 60% of the entire stay will be charged

  • 4 weeks before date of arrival 80% of entire stay will be charged

  • 3 week or before date of arrival 90% of total stay will be charged.

  • 1 week or before date of arrival 100% of total stay will be charged.

  • Credit Cards, We accept Master Card or Visa, or Debit/ Laser Cards.

BOOKING CANCELLATION

AccomWorld®™ should be informed of any cancellation immediately by email or fax. Cancellations outside office hours are deemed to have been made on the following working day.

Deposits will be refunded only if the booking cannot be honored due to a cause attributable to the accommodation provider or AccomWorld®™.

If the tenant has to cancel the booking, he can request AccomWorld®™ to replace him/her with another person. Cancellation or a request for substitution is only possible during office hours; from Monday / Friday from 09.00 to 17.00.

Reservations are only confirmed when we either charge or receive the booking Deposit, until this happens it is possible for other parties to reserve the house for the same period, and we cannot be held liable if this happens.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

 You should note that the accommodation provider may require a deposit, depending on the accommodation and the destination. The actual amount is indicated on the first page of the reservation form. The deposit is payable upon arrival or together with the final balance (six weeks before your arrival), depending on the accommodation provider. The method of payment depends on the accommodation provider; by credit card, bank transfer in advance or cash on the spot. This information can be found on our website, but also on the voucher.

The Damage deposit will be returned in full between de 48 hours en 3 days –and no later than 7 days- after your departure.

In the event of damage and/or loss of the rented property, and/or circumstances for which the tenant is to blame, the total incurred damage will be deducted from the deposit. In all instances where the costs of damage and/or loss of the rented property or the damage suffered by the accommodation provider exceed the paid deposit the tenant must immediately pay the excess to the accommodation provider. All instances of breakage, loss and/or damages must be reported immediately to the accommodation provider and paid for.

If, on arrival at the property, you find any type of irregularity, we request that you inform the local contact person, specified on your voucher, within 24 hours so that a solution can be found and deductions for breakages that are not your responsibility can be prevented.

UTILITIES

Utilities (Heating & Electricity) charges are included in this price, high consumption will be chargeable and are based on consumption and so you only pay for what you use.

VALUABLE BELONGING

We are not responsible for the loss of any valuables or property either during your stay or after departure.

We have the right to enter the property at any time if so desired if it is felt that the property is not being kept in a reasonable manner, or the occupants of the property are causing a nuisance to other neighboring properties, the right to inspect is enforceable at all times, and if we call to the house, and none of the occupants are present or do not open the door, then the right to inspect if enforceable immediately.

OCCUPANCY

The number of people designated in the original Reservation, must not be exceeded, without contacting us. If the number of occupants in the property exceeds the number of occupants requested when booking the property in question, we have the right to cancel without warning, and when you have been requested to remove the occupants from the property immediately, no refund shall be given in these circumstances, and no refund shall be sought, as the occupants give up this right if the number of occupants exceeds the number of people the property was booked for in the first place.

Should guests behave in a disruptive manner, cause damage to property or indulge in any other behavior deemed to be unreasonable by management the rental may be terminated without refund. If there is damage caused to the property or the items in the property during your stay you will be liable for the cost of repair of the damaged item or replacement of an item that cannot be fixed. If something is broken or damaged when you enter the property please advise us straight away so as we can replace the item as soon as possible.

COMPLAINTS

Complaints should be notified immediately to us immediately to give us the opportunity to deal with them as soon as possible to our guest relation representative by phone number on the number given to you upon checking in the welcome pack.

On leaving the property we would expect the following to be done,

  1. 1 All Laundry and Linen that has been used, shall be placed in one of the Bathrooms

  2. 2 All Rubbish that is left by the group shall be placed outside the rare of the property

  3. 3 All Plates, Pots & Pans etc shall be washed and placed back in the same place

  4. That the Meters are read and you leave the correct amount to cover the cost of the Utilities which you have used is left in the Envelope along with the Utilities form

  5. The house should be returned in a reasonable state

  6. Failure to do so will result in extra cleaning charges, with a minimum being USD $30.00 for failure to do any of the above

The person, who gives their Credit Card details for payment for the Holiday Home, will be responsible for any charges for breakages or Damages, or Charges for leaving the House in an unsatisfactory manner. We will charge that persons card, and it is agreed that the is agreed that person agrees with this charge being made on their credit card.

Any complaint regarding your stay with us must be brought to our attention as early as possible during your stay and, if not resolved to your satisfaction, should be notified to the AccomWorld®™ Rentals in writing.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

The time at which the accommodation will be available on the day of arrival, depends on the region and/or accommodation provider and can be found on our website and on the voucher. The time at which the accommodation should be vacated depends on the region and/or accommodation provider and can be found on our website and on the voucher.

It is vital that we are sent flight details or expected arrival and departure times in order to facilitate a smooth check-in and check-out. It does not however guarantee an early check-in or a later departure from the property.

For clients who arrive outside office hours, we request that you inform us as soon as possible so that we can give you arrival information, such as: directions to the property and instructions for key collection. Ensure that the reservation is 100% paid and that you have facilitated the payment of the deposit.

We are flexible with the check-in and check-out if there is no charge over in the Arrival and Departure. 

LIABILITY

AccomWorld®™ does not accept liability for any omissions or errors and reserves the right at any time to change information published on the site.
AccomWorld®™ does not accept liability for any loss either indirect or consequential that may arise from the use of or connected with AccomWorld®™ Rentals web site or for any products or services purchased from AccomWorld®™ web site.

GUEST BEHAVIOR

You are expected to conduct yourself at all times in an orderly and acceptable manner and not to disrupt the quiet enjoyment of other guests. We reserve the right to immediately terminate your booking and the booking of any members of your party if we (acting reasonably) deem your conduct to be in breach of this clause.
Conduct that we reasonably consider inappropriate and in breach of clause includes but is not limited to: 
(a) creating an inappropriate level of noise; 
(b) drunken or unruly behavior; and/or
(c) any behavior which other guests or staff find offensive in any way.
We will at all time act reasonably when making any determination
In the event that we terminate your booking, you will be required to leave your accommodation immediately. You will be held liable for any damage or loss caused by you or a member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid prior to your departure. If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you.
Our obligations to you come to an end when the booking is terminated. We will have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation and we will not pay for any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination.

MISCELLANEOUS

Passport, visa and health requirements for you and your party are your responsibility. You are strongly recommended to obtain travel insurance against cancelation.
You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. All bookings are personal to you and may not be sold, assigned or otherwise transferred.
If our hotel reservation confirmations are used inappropriately as means of VISA application, an admin fee will be charged and the customer will be reported to the local authorities.

ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES IN THE VILLAS OR HOLIDAYS HOMES

We will have zero tolerance to any activities considered Illegal as per the COUNTRY law and will involve the Local Police if you are found to be doing any of such activities the company will not be of any help in such case and you will have to check out immediately no refund will be done this case what so ever.

CORRECT DETAILS

You are requested not to provide any false information when confirming the booking including your name, phone number and residential address. If we find any false information provided by you we will have the right to cancel the booking without any notice and any payments made will be non-refundable.

SUNSCREEN LOTIONS

In the last year we have noticed a huge amount of body lotions, sunscreens and the latest generation of tanning oils which apparently help you to get tanned quicker. The downside is that they contain substances that affect the good performance of the swimming pool and its engines and most of the time leaves persistent spots on the household linen, bathing suits and sun lounger mats.

Please be aware of this because when serious damage is made, we are forced to make you responsible of any damage and the correspondent amount is going to be discounted from the deposit.

PETS

Most accommodation providers do not allow pets. You may keep a pet in or around the villa only with the explicit permission of AccomWorld®™ stated on the reservation form and voucher. The accommodation provider may require extra mandatory final cleaning costs.Pets are not permitted at most of our property, for Pet Friendly option enquire with our reservations staff by e-mail.

LEGAL GOVERNANCE

Your booking is governed by the law of the state or country where the holidays home is situated and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or country courts. The booking confirmation and these terms represent the entire agreement between AccomWorld®™ and you.
You confirm that you have not entered into the contract with AccomWorld®™ on the basis of any representation not expressly incorporated into these documents.
